WHAT GOD IS DOING!

We have been rejoicing over the fact that after 11 (eleven) days without water in our house, it has been turned on again. In the culture that we live in, the Water Department and the Electric Company could care less if you have a problem with either of these two necessities, especially when it’s the weekend or a holiday. As missionaries, we appreciate water and water pressure when we come to the States.

We had anew experience in the ministry! The other day Pat and I went to a hospice center for people who have AIDS to pray for somebody who has been to our church a few times. That was a new and adventurous experience for us. To our surprise there were at least 25 little children from birth to 10 years old living there. I told the director of the hospice center that we could and would come to minister to these little ones with our children’s ministry team. For us it would be a privilege.

We have some needs to share with you. We recently bought a pick-up for the ministry that cost us $ 3,500.00. We’d like to get it paid off, if can to help here we would be so grateful. We still need at least $ 2,500.00 to put the roof on the building for the children’s church in Santiago. With the rain almost everyday, it would be great to have this phase done.

And here's a word for thought -- Discouragement is a very effective weapon of the enemy that causes people to make wrong decisions, forget about their focus, vision, goals and where they want to go. Don’t let that be you!

With love,
Mike and Pat
