PREPARATION
God prepared Mike and Pat for their present work throughout their first six years in Guatemala where they not only did the work of the ministry, but raised their two sons—Luke and Bart, and adopted their Guatemalan son—Porfirio.

During this time they developed fluency with the language, and Mike came to recognize his ministerial calling as an apostle and teacher as he fulfilled the various tasks God set before him:

  • Teacher, team member with Cristo al Mundo Bible Training Center in Guatemala for one year.

  • Pastored pastors through teachings, counseling, fellowshipping, and providing spiritual covering for 11 ordained ministers and 8 churches

  • Founder and Director of the Bible School for Training and Ministerial Preparation

  • Construction of churches and classrooms

  • Founder of a free educational school for poor children

  • Fundraising and administering financial aid to feeding programs and a Christian school

  • Administration of 2 feeding programs and children's evangelistic campaigns

  • Directed a staff of 3 missionaries, 7 volunteers and 3 paid nationals

  • Hosted short term mission groups from the U.S.

  • Ministered in churches both in Guatemala and the U.S.

God's mercy, love, and wisdom and the commitment of faithful supporters sustained Mike and his family as they faced daily trials, political unrest, and financial challenges.

Please consider joining this band of spiritual warriors and be a blessing through prayer, contributions or short term missions! Contact Mike through email, or send your financial assistance to the stateside address.
